Q: What sets your project apart from all the other solar panel chargers already on the market?
A: Our project follows the direction of the sun throughout the day. Previous projects lay flat to the ground thereby only being able to harvest solar energy efficiently for certain periods of the day. With the rotating solar cell idea, the device is able to then capture energy for a longer period of time.
Q: What ways have you improved this idea because it has been done so many times before?
A: With the utilization of MatLab and the Arduino Software, there is a code involved with the rotation of the device.
Q: From your understanding, what is the best way to maximize the harvested energy from the sun?
A: The best way is through collecting the photons.This is the most raw and non- distorted form of solar energy so it is the strongest to use.
